Kyiv blocked the visit of the IAEA delegation to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, said the CAA

IMFEROPOL, June 21 – RIA Novosti. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) remotely monitors the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in Energodar, the personal arrival of the organization’s delegation is blocked by the Ukrainian side, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region, told RIA Novosti.

“The IAEA remotely monitors the situation at the nuclear power plant. All the necessary data is transmitted to them, including on the level of radiation, generation. We invited the IAEA delegation to personally visit the nuclear power plant, but the Kyiv regime prevents this and blocks the visit,” Rogov told the agency.

According to him, the Kiev authorities are afraid that if the IAEA delegation arrives , illegal stocks of enriched uranium and plutonium accumulated during the time when the nuclear power plant was under the control of Kiev will be opened and become the property of the international community.

At the same time, Rogov stressed that the delegation could visit the nuclear power plant through the territory of  Russia , in particular Crimea, or the Donetsk People’s Republic .

“The land transport corridor is open and safe,” he said.

During the special operation, the Russian military took control of the Kherson region and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region in southern Ukraine . Civil-military administrations were formed in the regions, the ruble was put into circulation, and Russian TV channels and radio stations began broadcasting. The regions announced plans to become subjects of the Russian Federation.

Imagine the following hypothetical: The World Health Organization (“WHO”) is deeply involved in a high level cover up of the human impact and dangers of ionizing radiation, intentionally hiding the facts from the public, a chilling storyline!

After all, the world community depends upon WHO as an independent org t0 forewarn the general public of health dangers and to help in times of crises, not hide pivotal health facts from public eye.

As it happens, that nightmarish hypothetical comes to life in an interview with Alison Katz, who claims: “We are absolutely convinced that if the consequences of nuclear radiation were known to the public, the debate about nuclear power would end tomorrow. In fact, if the public knew, it would probably be excluded immediately as an energy option.”

Alison Katz heads a NGO known as Independent WHO, and she spends a lot of time arranging sandwich boards with messages like: “Complicity in Scientific Crime” or “Crime of Chernobyl – WHO Accomplice” in front of WHO headquarters/Geneva. For 10 years now on a daily vigil from 8:00-to-6:00 she and/or other protestors expose alleged misbehavior committed by WHO, right outside of the headquarters building. Imagine this: Ten years on the same street corner every working day. It’s commitment and determination sans pareil.

“The aim of the silent vigil is to remind the World Health Organisation of its duties. It was Hippocrates who formulated the ethical rules for health practitioners. The World Health Organisation ignores these rules, when it comes to protecting the health of the victims of the consequences of the nuclear industry”.

Which brings forth: Ten years of hard work combating a difficult and challenging issue warrants public adulation beyond carrying posters back and forth, come rain or shine, trudging away in the heat of the sun or the freezing cold and snow in front of WHO Hdqs. Hopefully, this article serves that purpose for Alison Katz.

The mission of Independent WHO is to expose WHO’s failings whilst calling for WHO independence away from influence by the worldwide nuclear syndicate: According to WHO Independence’s Web Site: “The World Health Organization (WHO) is failing in its duty to protect those populations who are victims of radioactive contamination.”

Ms Katz worked inside the WHO for 18 years. She insists that WHO, in cahoots with IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), dangerously misrepresents the inherent dangers of ionizing radiation, an insinuation that smacks in the face with egregiousness galore.

This article condenses and summarizes her one-hour interview. As such, according to Ms Katz: “The health consequences of nuclear activity, whether they are civil or military, are not known to the public… There has been a very high level cover up… including the WHO.”

IAEA backs Nigeria’s use of Uranium for power generation, says it poses no threat

… The Federal Government brought in top experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency to conduct a week-long training for nuclear practitioners and security officers in the country on the extraction, exploitation and utilisation of the substance. …

The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer, NNRA, Prof. Lawrence Dim, explained that the latest training would expose participants to the technicalities in Uranium use for power generation since Nigeria does not have the relevant technology to do so at the moment.

He was quick to say that the use of uranium does not pose any threat to the country, adding, “Uranium exploration in Nigeria is quite safe. We have not had any cause to find out that there is any high level of radiation or exposure relating to that.

“The issue is that the uranium we get in our soil is the natural uranium; although it has radioactive material, the concentration is low. So we don’t have any situation where the level of radiation coming out from it is detected to be harmful.”

Japanese doctors threatened; health statistics must be cleared by the IAEA before release to the public

Japanese doctors threatened — their hospital rights and medical license will be revoked if they tell patients their illness is radiation-related.

The IAEA is the International Atomic Energy Agency.

We’ve heard almost nothing about the impacts [of the Fukushima catastrophe] on people in that region. There are accounts coming out of there of strange tumors, kids dying, pets dying — what have you heard? Can we ever expect an honest accounting from Japanese authorities?

Arnie Gundersen, nuclear engineer (emphasis added):

That’s a pretty good summary, frankly. We continue to get information from people who live there about cancer rates — and illnesses in general, not just cancer. We think of radiation as a cancer causing thing, but it also causes many other ailments. Much higher incidences of a whole range of illnesses than they had in 2010, the year before the accident…

We’re also working with doctors in Japan, and some brave doctors are saying that they’ve been threatened — that their hospital rights have been threatened — if you tell your patient this illness is radiation related you’ll lose your right to practice and things like that. So there’s enormous pressure on the medical community to tell the patients that what they’re experiencing is not at all related to radiation. The key is statistics, and the question is when will the statistics be released for mortality, morbidity, and general illnesses…

We’re not seeing the data. The medical community now has to file every report that it writes with the IAEA, the International Atomic Energy Agency, before it’s issued. So if you’re a hospital, and you’ve got mortality data, you’re not allowed to issue that to the public until those reports have been cleared by the IAEA. Well, Article II of the IAEA charter is to promote nuclear power. So even if the hospital was conscientious — there’s a lot of political pressure not to be — but even if it was conscientious, there’s another step in the process, and they’ve got to clear an IAEA hurdle before those numbers are released. It’s truly frightening, the pressure the medical community is undergoing in Japan. Very few of them are willing to tell the truth.
