About

The Fukushima catastrophe is worsening, and we must take action.

“How serious this accident is? Very, very serious, of course…Still not under control…we’re still in the stage of accident.”– Dr. Tatsujiro Suzuki, Vice Chairman, Japan Atomic Energy Commission, October 12, 2013.

The initial explosions in March 2011 spread radiation worldwide; airborne radiation reached the West Coast in three days. Monitors show ongoing rising air contamination here, and Japan is burning radioactive debris, further contaminating the air. Rain increases exposure. Kelp absorbs radiation. Berkeley rainwater after the initial accident was 181 times the federal limit for radioactive iodine in drinking water. The EPA responded by raising federal limits.

The fuel cores of reactors 1, 2, and 3 melted down and through, and may have gone into the earth. “The levels of radiation in buildings 1,2 and 3 are now so high that no human can enter or get close to the molten cores.”– Helen Caldicott, MD.

There is ongoing contamination of groundwater, and 400 tons of radioactive water flow into the Pacific every day, according to Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO). The plume of radioactive water continues to cross the Pacific and progressively worsen contamination. It has already here. Thousands of dead sea birds have washed up in Alaska and along the coast. Seals, polar bears, and other mammals have sores, are losing fur, and have internal damage. Seals, sea lions, birds, and their young are starving to death and washing up along the coast. Plankton is dying. Sea creatures are massing along the West Coast and in Monterey Bay looking for food.

The health toll is rising in Japan, including thyroid cancer, rare diseases, and children having heart attacks. It will rise here. Cesium goes to muscle including heart muscle; after Chernobyl, heart disease was much more prevalent than even cancers. Doctors are discouraged from reporting or talking to patients about Fukushima. In April, 2012, Dr. Tomoyuki Yamazaki said a growing number of children he sees have “nosebleeds that don’t stop, incurable stomatitis,…and pains in their chests.” In March 2012, pediatrician Shintaro Kikuchi sent out an international appeal, saying. “We are now in very bad condition. Especially for children. So, please give us help.” How many in the U.S. even heard?

Right now the public has to search for information. ENE News (www.enenews.com) is one source for interviews and reports from nuclear experts, physicians, NRC meetings, media, and the international community. It is currently in an inactive status, but its archives are tremendous.

In California, Fairfax City Council and Berkeley City Council adopted resolutions calling for monitoring and international action, but Congress, and state and federal regulatory agencies have been silent. The Obama administration raised radiation levels allowed in drinking water after a nuclear incident. Fukushima was that incident.

“I believe that humanity is standing on the brink of a possible worldwide nuclear holocaust.”– Dr. Stephen Hosea, infectious disease specialist, October 31, 2013

We must take action in two ways.

Political pressure is essential. With radioactive rain falling not just in American coastal regions, officials aren’t even warning people or children to take the simple and protective action of using umbrellas. Children are still playing and engaging in sports outdoors in the rain.

Seafood is not being publicly tested. Desalination projects are proposed along the coast or are in operation without any evidence of safety. There is no local public monitoring and disclosure of airborne radiation levels in our cities or counties.

These are all issues that are easy to implement, but our governments have not done so. They will not do so until we make them and expose their crimes of silence.

Secondly, there is ample evidence that metaphysical measures can address this radiation. We have an obligation to investigate this and find out for ourselves how much power we have – in our hearts, minds, bodies, hands — to stop and defuse this radiation, stop further damage, and heal the peoples harmed. Children are most open and fearless; what can we learn from them about what is possible?

It is imperative that we stand together at the ocean and wherever we are to send healing energies and prayers to the ocean, to Japan, and to the earth with our family, our friends, and our community.

Thought, word, songs, energy healing modalities, such as reiki, music, art, dance, ceremony, prayers, meditations, and more are needed now. Masaru Emoto has written extensively about the healing properties of water, affected by words and intentions. The more creative and the more widespread these actions, the better.

No one else will resolve this massive problem that worsens every day Everyone who cares about the earth must get busy, get current on the situation, and take action. Our future is at stake, and it’s up to us.

  1. Exactly correct. ELE that I would have never have predicted that 99% of the world cannot and will not acknowledge! Parents continue to flush their children with seaweed snacks and milk everyday despite the connective evidence. Sad days for all life on the planet and if we haven’t already plunged over the edge to unavoidable doom then we are racing to it anyways.

  2. “The Obama administration raised radiation levels allowed in drinking water after a nuclear incident” because they knew how bad the Fukushima was from the begining.
    Trivialization of radiation release from Fukushima was very simple;
    1) the melt down rate of reactor core of Unit 1 to 3 were calculated small and 2) radiation release from all the spent fuel pools was neglected completely.

My web site is the copy of the letter I sent to Alison Katz, Independent WHO, which shows the whole picture of Fukushima cover up.
Please read it and let people know.
    Thanks,
